I have recently started visiting the site called "WakeUpWithLarry" http://www.wakeupwithlarry.com/
I have REALLY needed to hear what was being said.
You see, I have been on the internet since 2000. During that time I have had 5 heart attacks, one requiring a 5 by-pass surgery, one requiring a 2 by-pass surgery, one requiring stent surgery, one was a warning sign that I was pushing it working 2 1/2 days straight, another warning me pushing it working 20 hours a day three days in a row.
Unfortunately, each heart attack is a temporary set back. You are down in the hospital for awhile, you finally get home, your wife begs you to take it easy, so you do, because she is crying her eyes out staring you right in the face in fear that she is going to lose her husband and be alone.
Then with the help of your loving wife, she props a pillow up in your work chair to help ease the discomfort and pain, because she knows that just standing at the bathroom sink to brush your teeth is tiring enough, but now you must get back to business.
So you make your way to your 30 second commute that for some reason seems much farther than that today. And with the help of your loving wife you plop down in extreme pain into your chair.
You see when they did the surgery they split your chest open, sawed your rib cage on both sides, actually opened you up like a book, removed your heart from your chest, put you on a machine to keep you alive, made an incision on your inner left leg from your knee down to your ankle because they needed the vein for the by-pass, made another another incision on the left inner forearm from your elbow down to your wrist because they need another vein for the by-pass.
And when they put you all back together again, since they had to sawn your chest plate in two it is now wired back together and because of the extent of ALL of your incisions you not only have hundereds of stitches, but they also had to use staples whiich at times feels like they are ripping into your flesh if you move just the slightest wrong way.
After your loving wife helps you get positioned just right in the chair, she must help you elevate your left leg out to one side of your computer desk so as to make sure the incision does not open. Then she must make sure it is warapped at the ankle because of all of the drainage that is still seeping from your leg. You can't even wear a sock for any long length of time because it becomes drenched from all of the seepage.
Then your loving wife quickly gets your hydrocodine or oxycodone depending on what level of pain you are in and then fixes you a cup of coffee.
And through all of this, you both know that you will only be able to tolerate the pain of sitting up in that damn chair for only so long. Maybe 2 hours, maybe 4 hours tops. 4 hours is complete agony. But you both know that you HAVE to do it if you are going to succeed, you HAVE to do it because of the inner burning fire to make it, you HAVE to do it because NOTHING is going to prevent you from achieving your goal of financial freedom and being able to provide your loving wife with all that she desires.
Then your loving wife helps you through the extreme, mind wrenching pain and agony of getting up out of that damn chair, you make your way back to your bed, having to stop what seems like a hundred times to catch your breath and because it feels like your chest is going to explode.
Then the worse part of it all. Making your way back down to that bed and feeling your rib cage shifting on both sides just enough to make you scream out in pain, then you feel your chest plate that is wired together grind, then that leg that is spit open like a melon has to be twisted so you can adjust a turn just before plopping down onto the bed screaming in EXTREME pain, then here comes the chest pain because of all of the stress of what you have just been though. Your loving wife goes running to get the nitro to pop under your tongue, hoping this is not the big one.
Finally you are able to get as comfortable as you can, your loving wife runs to get you some more pain killers, puts a pillow very carefully under your leg to keep it elevated, puts an extra pillow or two behind your head so you are not laying too flat causing your more pain. Then the next thing you know you dose off in complete exhaustion.
Then you wake up, your loving wife with her hand on your face asks "Well mister are you ready to get back at it?!", then togther you go through the process of getting set up in that damn chair, the pain killers, the coffee, propping up the leg, etc., all over again.
All the while you know that each precious moment in time must be spent wisely. Because you definitely do not know how mush time that you really have. More so than most people.
You See, in June 2012 we were told that they have pretty much done all they can do. They can not perform any further by-passes, there is no place left for stents, and that according to the stress test, angioplasty and electrocardiogram, I am back down to just 2 open arteries. I have been given additional medication to help extend my life.
The cardiologist and 2 other doctors have asked me what in God's name has kept me going? That they are amazed at my recovery rate, my drive, my will to survive. I tell them because I am determined to accomplish my goals of self employment and financial freedom before I dye and to make sure that my loving wife will be able to live the rest of her life debt free. That I MUST succeed. The cardiologist and the doctors just stared at me smiling. I could not believe it when the cardiologist had a tear running down his cheek, put his hand on my shoulder and said "Amen to that brother". He then turned to the other 2 doctors and said "Wow, how about that!".
You see, I am one of those guys you hear about that had it all and then lost it. Well pretty much threw it away for an ex-wife that said "It or me". So I have had a taste of the good life. I know what it is like to tip the waitress that is struggling to support her kids $50 just before Christmas just so I could see her light up with joy. You know what I am talking about. Passing it forward kind of thing.
When I suffered the whopper heart attack in 2000, working at home became a must. I went out and bought a computer, armed with what seemed like a ton of text books, self taught myself to use it and then self taught myself without a mentor to use the internet, create a website, blogs, write articles, etc. You can type into Google James Deo Dawson "Sr", WorkAtHomeBusinessSecrets.webs.com, JamesDeoDawsonSrWorld.info, JDDawsonAssociates.webs.com and I will come up.
James Deo Dawson "Sr" typed into Bing search seems to bring up the most.
Now in our humble household, every day is just another adventure. I say "adventure" pretty much out of habit. You see, the wife and I have been through a lot. Each time that we have a new issue to overcome, one of us will say, "Oh well! Just another adventure for Jim and Diane! The adventures of Jim and Diane!
Well, I am more than ready for another adventure today. I am up for the challenge if you are. How about it, are you gonna' come join me in business to see what challenges we can overcome today on our new and exciting adventures?
Sorry for the length of this posting. To me it was all important and needed to be said so you would clearly understand the gravity of being "Determined To Succeed - NO Excuses".
None of us really knows how much time we have on mother earth. People can be so very, very wasteful with the precious time that they have been allowed. Never really understanding just how precious their time is until a catastrophe of some sort enters into their life. Then they quickly and abruptly discover, just how short their time really can be.
So PLEASE treat every minute like it may be your last. Because take it from me, someone who REALLY knows...That next minute....That last look into your loved ones eyes...That last kiss...That chance to change everything and to make your life and your loved ones last moments in time that will be remembered forever...really..really ...special.
Success and all that comes with it will, once accomplished by me, be my last contribution of giving all I had to my very loving wife. And when my time has come, I will pass knowing that I had accomplished my goal...I finally succeeded..my last gift to my wife so she may live in complete freedom.

Determined To Succeed - NO Excuses

The "Mental Offense of Failure"
Now, so you will know, you should
probably pour yourself a cup of java before sitting down to read
this. I have a habit of long commentaries, but this one...is
definitely long. But I think that you will come to realize why that
is. In my humble opinion, it was necessary to make a point.
Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven, But
Nobody Wants To Die! Everybody Wants To Succeed, But nobody Wants to
Fail!" "Well, Sorry!, But It Just Does Not Work That Way!!"
"You MUST Learn To Fail and Accept
It"
Also Whether You Want to Admit It or
Not...Those That Rarely Fail Are Not Doing Anything! A REAL
Champion Embraces Failure".
People that have failed, I tell them ,
"Congratulations, now that you have failed we can get down to
business on YOUR road to success!."
You learned how to walk, you learned
how to speak, as a child you failed HUNDREDS of times trying to walk,
failed HUNDREDS of times trying talk, but you did not give up. You
did not stop because you fell and got hurt, saying to yourself, "Hey
that hurt! I am not going to do that anymore! Don't talk to me about
walking, I don't want any part of that anymore!"
You MUST learn to ACCEPT failure. You
are actually wired to fail. You have to ACT on it with the right
attitude. Failure is your teacher, not your enemy! Without failure it
is impossible to succeed.
So for those of you that made it past
six months old and learned how to walk, congratulations to you! You
made it past your failures, learned from it and succeeded!
Now...what it your challenge today?
Have you failed at something?
Have you allowed it to carry you into
desperation and depression?
Are you ready to get past it, learn
from it, respect it for what it has taught you, and ready to overcome
your "Mental Offense of Failure?"
That is what it has become to you
without even realizing it.
The failure you are experiencing has
actually become a personal offense.
SUCCESS can not be predicted, or
expected, but it CAN be ultimately achieved if you embrace failure,
learn from it, overcome it, NEVER give up and NEVER let ANYONE take
your dreams from you.
FAILURE is inevitable. Like it or not
it WILL happen. Throughout your entire life, the fear of failure, our
own mental fear of criticism can have a crippling and devastating
effect on us.
Think I am wrong?
Let's do a little test...close your
eyes. Now imagine yourself pulling an outfit out of your closet that
is from last year or the year before style and fashion. Now imagine
yourself Walking down the street amongst a crowd of people. Now
notice how you feel. You start to feel like everyone is noticing you
and watching you. You feel that everyone is noticing that you are
wearing an outfit so very much out of style.
This is what is referred to as your
"Mental Offense of Failure".
Kind of when you make the very sad
mistake of telling a loved one, a friend, a relative, what you have
decided to achieve in your business life. If it is Network Marketing,
MLM, Direct Selling, etc...as you are excitedly explaining to them
what it is, 9 times out of 10 you will hear "Oh you are talking
about that one thing. I know people that have tried that and they
failed miserably! I even tried it for a couple of weeks and finally
gave up on it myself. You had better do yourself a favor and get out
of that! You are only going to fail and loose your shirt on that
thing! I can tell you all about THAT from experience!"
Then all of a sudden, you feel that
self doubt creeping in. The "Mental Offense of Failure".
Then you really start to question
yourself.
"Did I really make the right
decision?"
"Are THEY right?"
"Is the internet marketing thing I
got myself involved in really a stupid idea?"
"Maybe I need to take a couple of
days and sleep on it".
"I don't want to do something
stupid."
Any of this kinda' sound familiar?
If you have ever noticed, a lot of the
successful people that we have come into contact with are sometimes
referred to as arrogant and snoddy towards those who question their
chosen occupation. Even to the point of seeming defensive when
questioned about it. There is a reason for that! That is their
defense mechanism against negative people. That is their way of
putting distance between themselves and the negative person
immediately. ESPECIALLY with the people that are quite obviously only
asking because their main agenda is to only criticize and manipulate
them into thinking what they are involved in is stupid and wrong,
based on their own ignorant analogy.
BUT, in all reality, those very
people...You know, the ones that make it their goal to bring you
down. They have not and are not intending on doing anything
positively productive with their own lives. They just go through
their entire day criticizing others, some even try to humiliate
others in front of friends and relatives, judge others, point fingers
at others while they laugh and say "Your kidding right?!"...
They are what the successful elite
consider, the ultimate looser. They want absolutely NOTHING to do
with them. Sad, but it is the truth. It is a very sad fact that there
are some people that you will NEVER be able to help or convince that
you really do have the answer to end their own financial struggles.
Whether you want to believe it or not.
You will be doing yourself a huge favor
by just laughing it off and saying to them...(What I say)
"OK, well I tried to help!
Whenever you finally see the light and are ready to REALLY listen,
just let me know. But!, remember this...I do not and will not want to
hear any negativity from you regarding my chosen profession and
business. What I have to offer to you is REAL and CAN help resolve
all of your financial issues if you are willing to be open minded,
REALLY listen, can ACCEPT failure and learn from it and let the
business and I help you. There is no golden wand or pill to resolve
your issues and I guarantee you nothing. Why? Because I will NOT do
it for you! YOU will determine from, what is presented to you on a
silver platter, your own ultimate success or doom. Understood?"
Now, when you put it to them just that
way...some will all of a sudden say "Whoa, I did not mean to
offend you! You REALLY ARE serious about this business that you are
involved in! Maybe I should reconsider! Would you please be willing
to start over and tell me a little more about what you have to offer?
I promise that I will take it more seriously this time."

of mine has become a bit long, let me conclude it by letting you in
on a little secret.

This is my The Empower Network – Blog Posting Number One
I just wanted to take a moment to reflect my opinion of “The Empower Network.”
As you become more involved with The Empower Network you will soon see what attracted me and now thousands of others. The Empower Network is a phenomenon of it’s own kind. It IS what some would refer to as…“THE ONE”.
Some us that have been involved in network marketing and mlm for what seems like a lifetime know this to be true. The Secret Of Becoming A Million Dollar Earner
I am a very new and proud distributor of EPXBody. I received the following e-mail from EPXBody and it's message is so profound and meaningful regarding our profession that I thought it of up-most importance to display the e-mail contents here as a new post.
Mark Yarnell, a minister in a small town in Texas, was headed for bankruptcy and about to lose his car and home. He looked for a way out and discovered Network Marketing. Luckily, he had a wise sponsor. The sponsor gave Mark “THE PROMISE”:
“This business can set you free financially in one to three years” he said. Then he gave him “THE PRICE”:
“To succeed you will have to face and conquer 4 major enemies.”
Mark said, “It’s a deal.” Mark then invited 200 friends over to his house to watch a video. 80 said “No, not interested.” Mark had encountered:
ENEMY #1: Rejection.
He thought, “No problem. My Sponsor warned me about that. I have 120 people still coming over.”
Guess what? 50 didn’t show up. He had just met:
ENEMY #2: Deception.
Mark thought, “No problem, my sponsor warned me about that. I’ve got 70 people who watched the video.”
Guess what? 57 said, “Not interested.” He had just encountered:
ENEMY #3: Apathy.
Undaunted, Mark thought, “No problem, 13 people signed up.”
Guess what? 12 of them dropped out of the business soon after. Meet:
ENEMY #4: Attrition.
Attrition had left Mark with just one serious associate. To this day, that single distributor earns earns Mark over $50,000 per month.
You may have heard of Bill Britt, one of the most successful distributors in Amway. Some years ago 20/20 did a feature story on Amway. They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers, and several distributors who had failed with their garages full of products they couldn’t sell. During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked, “Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you. What’s your secret?”
He replied, “There’s no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people, 900 said no and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85, only 35 were serious and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire.” Like Mark Yarnell, Bill worked through the numbers.
Jason Boreyko, president of New Vision, told this story. When he was a distributor in Matol, he signed up 50 people. He heard a lot of “No’s.” On the way to those 50, Jason took one man, who he knew would be terrific in the business, to lunch and told him about the business and the man said “No.” Jason took the man to lunch again the next month. And again, the man said “No.” That went on for six months. The 7th month, something had changed for the man and he said: “Yes.” That man made Jason over $1,000,000 million dollars. Jason also worked through his numbers.
According to Richard Poe in “Wave Three”, while starting Amway Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, America’s 11th-richest people, recruited 500 people and 495 dropped out. The 5 that didn’t quit built Amway. All $9 billion of Amway’s annual business was built under those 5 people. Rich and Jay had to work through their numbers.
There are many similar stories. Here’s the lesson: your success is directly related to the degree to which you are willing to work to find others like yourself who are committed to succeed.
Mark Yarnell’s odds were 1 out of 200. Bill Britt’s were 11 out 1200. Jason Boreyko’s odds were 1 out 50.
Would you be willing to:
Go through 200 people to find the 1 who will make you $50,000 a month?
Or go through 1200 people to become a millionaire?
Or hear uncounted “No’s” to sign up 50 people to find a million dollar person?
It’s easier when you know the odds up front. But here’s the catch:
You have your own set of odds and you won’t know what they are until AFTER YOU’VE SUCCEEDED.
So if you’ve gone through 50 or 100 people and you haven’t found 1 serious person yet, you can either give up and assume the business does not work, or recognize that you are working through your own numbers.
If you are willing to pay the price… work the numbers, not give up and face those four enemies, you will succeed!

Traffic To Your Site - So What! It Is About FREEDOM!
I keep hearing and reading over and over again how important it is to get enormous amounts of traffic to your site.
WRONG!!!!!!!!
Traffic and leads to your site is NOT your problem.
Your problem is CONVERSIONS...SALES! YOU!!
You REALLY only need to sponsor a maximum of 10 people per month!!
Especially just starting out. Just starting out 10 people may even be pushing it.
To really SPONSOR, help, guide, encourage the people under you can and will take a tremendous amount of time when it is done correctly.
First you must be wiling to know your products and services inside and out, live and breath it.
THEN be willing to commit and devote yourself to the people that you have taken on the responsibility of sponsoring.
It absolutely kills me how many affiliates trying to get started into the industry do not understand that sponsoring someone under you is pretty much the same as an employer hiring an employee.
It is your responsibility to mentor the people that you have sponsored. For YOU are their guiding light to finally reaching freedom.
The freedom to get up out of bed when they want without an alarm, the freedom to decide what is best for themselves and their family and not some schmuck non caring employer, the freedom to take a much needed vacation for as long as they want, the freedom to spend that much needed time with their children, the freedom to take their spouse out for the evening without having to worry about getting up at the crack of the dawn the next day, the freedom to take the necessary time off for an illness without having to worry about explaining themselves to some schmuck non caring employer, and the list goes on.
FREEDOM!
The traffic to your site?...it will come! The REAL traffic. The traffic you created that WANTS to follow you because you cared enough to give of yourself to them when they needed compassion, sincerity, understanding and guidance to get them where they needed to be. Where they yearned to be. Where they were hurting so bad to be and did not know how to get to their goal of freedom.
Traffic by the hundreds or thousands means nothing if they are just non caring numbers. It is the few whose lives you have touched that come, that matter. Then you teach them to do the same as you have done. Then you will see history repeating itself over and over. And before you know it...you have your hundreds or thousands.
BUT, they are there because they WANT to be. They are there because they are of the following that you created. They are there because they believe in you and what you represent. The products and services that you have are just icing on the cake. I mean after all..the products and services must be great if you believe in them! So why wouldn't they want to take part in representing the products and services as well!!
Take care...and enjoy your FREEDOM. You finally, really, earned it.
